Gregory Paul Tonkowich
Gregory has 30 years of entrepreneurial and business improvement experience across a variety of industries. He holds a BA from Tufts University, a MBA from Arizona State University and a MIM from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
In 1994 and when the US embargo was lifted, Gregory (with a sense of adventure) worked with Haiti developing a supply network exporting primitive Haitian art and custom designed handicrafts to the US.
However, numerous extended visits to Central America compelled him to move to Costa Rica's Central Valley. Living in Escazú, he initially worked with Toboso Trust, S.A. an offshore law, tax, investment, and financial planning group. Then, as COO, he reorganized Enlace Internacional de Guanacaste, S.A., a startup that became Costa Rica’s largest private telecom.
Returning to the United States in May 2001 Gregory did tax work and private consulting in Florida and Northern Virginia.
In 2003 he was contractedby the Fabergé Collection to do financial and organizational consulting.
Subsequently hired by Fabergé, as Vice President of Customer Relations, Gregory rebuilt the customer service functions - leading the industry. He maintained this position and continued in his consulting role assisting the company in sales, new market development, cost analysis pricing, and purchasing.
After the financial meltdown in late 2008, Gregory left Fabergé, spent time in Costa Rica, and returned to Greenwich, CT to continue his consulting work.
In October 2009 he expanded his practice to Florida and made Ocala Florida his home base in March 2010. He will be moving to Gainesville Florida in June of 2013.
